Food was ok. Hostess was very nice, got our drinks, refilled our drinks, went to fetch our waitress TWICE. Wendy, our waitress, finally took our order after 20 minutes, food was wrong, never checked on our order, when we asked for a manager, our waitress, Wendy, said she was the manager, she was EXTREMELY RUDE & fought with us to comp the incorrect meal. Accused us of placing wrong order.

I go mainly for breakfast because it's on my way home. They have good prices along with a friendly wait staff. Wait time for your food is nominal, good place to eat.

Nice surprise, heading home from a trip to the Motorcity, had a late breakfast, everything was delicious portions were enough to bring home left overs, service was great, old school family diner, prices very good!

The food is good and reasonably priced. There's a wide variety of food to cater to different people's tastes.. Servers are usually friendly. The menus are a bit sticky and not something I wanted to touch before eating.

Enjoyed my visit.today.Dropped in for lunch and had a hot bowl of beef barley soup, and a grilled cheese. At my waitress, Kennedy's, suggestion I chose the apple pie for dessert.Nice finish to a nice meal. Kennedy is one to ask for, even though Great Lakes hires very pleasant people, she is certainly a keeper.Thank you Kennedy!:-)

Fast service on a sunday at 11:00am. Huge portions, great staff and very well priced .

Great Lakes Family makes huge, old fashioned platters of breakfast, like what I remember getting when going out on Saturday mornings with my dad and uncle. Good personal service, and they tip a pot into your cup every few minutes so your coffee cup never seems to go dry.

Great food with a great price and friendly service.... They're also not afraid to fill your plate!! Top notch restaurant in my opinion!!

I highly recommend the BELT. That's aBLT with a hard fried egg. It's amazing. The wait staff is so friendly. Love going here.

We had 70 people after a funeral and it cost 8 dollars a person for a miny Buffett. Salad two meats, ham and baked chicken breast, boiled carrots and what tasted like Instant potatoes with gravy. Not great but we were mostly all together and able to have fellowship and remember the good. I would try as normal family dinner.

I always get my money's worth their. Never had a bad experience. I love to eat there.

We just left the fowlerville location. Our server was very polite. The food however tasted so nasty. My husband got a sandwhich with fries all which tasted old...I ordered the seafood platter the 3 pieces of shrimp i got was good, the mash potatoes with gravy tasted so weird and gross, whatever else the meal came with was all weird tasting, we also ordered the cheese sticks with ranch the cheese was nasty the ranch was so liquidity like a bunch of water was added to it. The only things that tasted normal was my lemonade and my salad. $40.00 worth of food all sat on the table as we walked out. Wont ever go there again.

Reminded me of big boy. Not impressed. My husband ordered grilled chicken, not 1 grill mark. Great milk shakes for the grandkids

I come from southern Ohio, and stopped here for a bite on the trip back, and thought it was quite good personally. The food comes in HUGE portions is the only difficult side. The plates themselves are giant! But if you're looking to chow its the place to go. Its a bit expressive as the price for the pasta i ordered was i think 12.40 something. But its kinda reasonable for how rather fast they get it to you, and hope large the plates are. Staff were very friendly and fun, too. They have a tv for entertainment.

Just got some really terrible service from my surly white trash waitress at this place. This lady dropped one of my items on the floor then gave me a bunch of static when it was remade incorrectly, refused to take it off the bill. This place used to be decent, but it's gone way downhill. I won't be back.

Stopped here on our way home from Grand Rapids. Great service and good food. Loved the nautical theme of the restaurant!

I like a variety of breakfast foods and when I can get most of them in one order makes me happy! Eggs over medium, perfectly cooked, bacon crisp and very tasty, 2 huge pancakes fluffy and hot, sausage links nicely browned, and on the side some very good rye toast that tasted like rye! Everyone at the table also enjoyed their breakfast! Breakfast burrito, biscuit and gravy, omlette all very good! look forward to eating here again when I am in the area! Service was excellent.
